Food Pr0n Flashback - Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab

I just got around to grabbing the photos off of my camera phone and thought it would be good to put up a pic from Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab on Grand Avenue in Chicago.

Pre-Thanksgiving Food Pr0n - Chocolate Fudge Pecan Pie

On request, I made some chocolate fudge pecan pies.

Normally, there are two ways that a pecan pie can be made into a chocolate pecan pie:

One way is to put chocolate chips in the bottom of the crust
before you put pecans on top and pour the filling in.
The other way is to add cocoa (or chocolate) to the filling when you prepare it.

This is what happens when you do both:

Of course, the best part of making these pies is "quality control testing".
When serving, vanilla ice cream is REQUIRED.

and you might also need a cup of coffee or a tall glass of milk.
